CargoMaster – The stair climbers for professionals

Safety · Ergonomics · Innovation

In many businesses, it is part of everyday life: heavy ovens, heating appliances, or bulky components have to be transported up and down stairs — often through narrow stairwells and several times a day. This puts strain on backs and joints and ties up staff who are needed elsewhere.

The CargoMaster provides noticeable relief. As a versatile, mobile professional helper, it transports loads effortlessly up stairs and on level surfaces.

It combines the advantages of a stair climber and a robust sack truck in one device, making it the ideal support for stove builders, heating and plumbing companies, and all tradespeople who want to move heavy loads safely, quickly, and without straining their backs.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ):

What risks does the use of a stair climber reduce?

By using the CargoMaster:

  • Reduce heavy lifting over stairs
  • Avoid awkward postures (e.g. constant bending or lifting above the hips)
  • Need more than one employee? No longer necessary - one person is usually sufficient

This relieves strain on the back and joints and reduces the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

Can the CargoMaster also be used in narrow stairwells?

Yes, the compact and maneuverable design of the CargoMaster also allows it to be used in narrow stairwells and on narrow stairs.

How do you brake at the step and how safe is it?

The step edge braking system automatically engages at each step and prevents the step edge from rolling away. It ensures a stable hold and reduces the risk of slipping - even in narrow stairwells, on spiral staircases or with sensitive loads. In combination with the single step mode and a low speed setting, maximum control is guaranteed even in difficult conditions.

How does ComfortStep technology work in stair climbers?

The Comfort Step is fitted as standard on the CargoMaster stair climber. It ensures that the entire climbing process is particularly smooth and even.

The climbing legs touch down on the step gently and with little vibration. For you as the user, this means much more comfortable transportation of heavy loads over stairs, less strain on the material to be transported and smoother and more controlled work - whether in single step mode or continuous climbing mode.

What equipment and accessories are available for the stair climber?

The CargoMaster CC200 Li-Ion and the A350 come with comprehensive standard equipment: safety brakes, adjustable speed, single-stage switch and continuous climbing mode, black pneumatic tyres, mains charger, standard shovel and a lashing strap for securing the load.

The CC200 Li-Ion includes a lithium-ion battery from Bosch. The A350 comes with a lead-gel battery.

Depending on the model and individual requirements, additional optional accessories are available, e.g. various shovels in different sizes, supports for round containers or white goods, additional or more powerful batteries, car charging cable and other solutions for adapting to special transport requirements.

Can a stair climber be transported in a vehicle?

Many stair climbers can be folded up compactly for transportation in the vehicle or the handles can be retracted to take up as little space as possible. Depending on the model variant, vans, transporters or estate cars can be optimally utilized and the stair climber is ready for immediate use on site.

Depending on the model, the handles on the CargoMaster can also be folded or retracted to achieve a particularly small pack size. Further information can be found in our operating instructions.

Are there training courses or instructions for the device?

Yes - safety is our top priority. Every customer receives personal instruction from our trained field service directly on site. We explain how to use the CargoMaster step by step, give practical tips and tricks and ensure that all users can operate the device safely and efficiently. This also includes the appropriate documentation such as operating instructions and safety instructions. This comprehensive support is an integral part of our service and a clear advantage over many other manufacturers.

Can I get support with maintenance and repairs after purchase?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive maintenance and repair service for all CargoMaster products. Our technical support is available to you at any time. In the event of repairs or technical problems, we offer you rapid assistance.

The CargoMaster complies with the EC Machinery Directive 2006/24/EC and is not subject to fixed maintenance intervals. Nevertheless, we recommend regular maintenance of the CargoMaster. Please contact us to arrange an inspection at our factory.
